DELTRON 2000 DBC
Deltron 2000 DBC is PPG's 2nd generation basecoat resin technology developed
especially to deliver exacting color matches on the more sophisticated metallic
finishes now offered on today's luxury import and domestic vehicles. Metallic
control with DBC is superb so it sprays smooth and dries to a thin film build
with minimal shrinkage and no orange peel. A wide range of clear coat choices
is available in order to deliver a luxurious deep gloss under a variety of
operational conditions.
DBU Universal basecoat
When Deltron DBU basecoat was introduced in North America in 1984, the system
set the standard for quality, color match and ease of use. Soon it became
the world's number one best-selling basecoat.
DBU's pigmentation is especially formulated to provide superior color match
on domestic vehicle solid color and metallic finishes. As a catalyzed basecoat,
DBU offers excellent reparability. By offering a wide choice of clearcoats,
the DBU system is compatible for use in a variety of working environments -
from small shops with air-dry paint operations to high-volume production shops
with downdraft baking booths.
Concept 2K Urethane (DCC)
Concept Acrylic Urethane is a direct gloss, 2-component refinish system that
delivers exceptional gloss and color match for today's sophisticated finishes.
It is available in conventional single-stage solid and metallic colors
and can be applied over all properly prepared OEM finishes, and cured,
air-dried finishes. Concept CLV is a 3.5 VOC direct gloss system that meets
high quality demands in VOC-regulated environments. It meets or exceeds
OEM warranty requirements and is part of the PPG Lifetime Guarantee program.
OMNI AE Fast Drying Acrylic Enamel.
OMNI AE (MAE) is a very economically priced Acrylic Enamel. MAE offers the
same range of colors in a 1k topcoat, previously only available in a two-component
quality, yet allows the user to "upgrade" this to a two-component
technology if desired.
MAE is mixed utilizing the same tints as used with AU topcoats, with the addition
of a new mixing clear and drying agent. The same ancillary products are used
as well, making OMNI AE the perfect addition to the OMNI family of automotive
refinish systems.
OMNI AU Urethane basecoat
You can't go wrong with this Automotive Urethane. OMNI AU is a value-priced
line that can be mixed as either a 2K acrylic urethane (MTK), or an acrylic
basecoat (MBC).
To save on inventory costs, both systems are mixed from the same 34 mixing
bases and seven powered pearls. More than 14,000 color formulas are available,
including many lead-free choices.
